still life workshop

This is a still life workshop, where we were put into groups of four and using three different words we created a paper sculpture, where I helped to make the sculptures overall shape where I helped to fold the paper into a round shape twice, we than joined the two shapes together to make one big shape and I also helped to put little sticks within the sculpture to help keep it's balance.   

These are three drawings I did based around the sculpture. I created a series of different drawings using pencil and charcoal to create different drawings of the sculpture. I also used different drawing techniques like, not taking the drawing object of the paper, to use both hands for different drawings and to not look at the paper at all. I chose to show these two drawings because I feel they show the different kinds of techniques I used on the paper the best.
