the flying penis

For this workshop I was put in a group of three, where I had to help to make some think fly. The decision was to create a flying penis. First there were bits of card, which were cut out in shape of a penis, where using a helium balloon, the balloon was attached to the penis to try and make it lift of the ground when running holding the fishing wirer, which was also attached to the penis. Their was also a smaller more 3D version shown in the first image, which was attached to the balloon, which made it lift of the ground and move around the room. With the bigger version it was taken outside so the wind would help it lift when running with it, which is shown in the second image and the video, which was filmed showing the moment of the balloon where under the winds power. I feel that maybe this should have been done running along the street, so their would be stronger winds because their would not of been any trees in the winds way.

still life workshop two

This is a still life drawing workshop I did, where at first a large group of me and other students got random objects from around the college, where then they were put together as one big random piece, after I had to draw it multiply times using charcoal and different drawing techniques like keeping the charcoal on the paper, not looking at the paper and using my wrong hand to draw with. I like the first drawing, where I had to keep the charcoal on the paper because I believe I drew the box well in the middle of the drawing and it came out better than I expected, but next time I need to have more control on the way I drew some of the lines.

This is another charcoal drawing I did, where I had to go to a section of the college and draw it and try to include shadow in my work too. With this drawing I tried to draw it as accurate as I could. I like the drawing because I believe most of the shapes and lines have been drawn accurately and I also believe the shadows in the drawing are shown well, but next time I need to draw some of the lines more straight because some of them are bent. On the right bottom hand side there is also a enlarged section of the drawing of one of the corners from the drawing.

This is a photo of the section of the college I drew, I should of taken the photo from a better angle.

Other objects with drawings on them

Here are three more objects, where I stuck my drawings on, I used goggles, a tissue roll and a rock.
I choose to use these three objects because I wanted to experiment with different materials instead of plastic. I like these pieces because I feels they also work well with the drawings and my favoured one for me has to goggles because I just find it funny in a way I destroyed it's purpose and gave it a new one in a way, but next I feel again I could of placed the drawings better on the objects.

Transforming the everyday final outcome

Here is my transforming the everyday final outcome, where I have stuck my drawings on different plastic bottles and cups, where for each one I have stuck the drawings on the objects in different pattens and angles, so each one would be different in one way or another. I used black and white along with coloured versions of my drawings to stick on the plastic objects. I like my work because I like the way how I stuck my drawings on the cups and bottles differently, but next time I could stick some of the drawings on the surfaces of the objects better, where their more straightly placed.

Coloured printed drawings

Here is another printed sheet I made on photoshop, but this time I created a coloured version, where on photoshop, I used the colour filter to added different colour combinations to created different coloured versions of my drawings. I choose to added colour to my work because I wanted to move on from the black and white versions and try something new.

Printed drawings

This is a print out sheet I created on photoshop, where I made the drawings smaller and multiplied the number of them, so I could print out as many smaller versions of the drawings as I could, on one sheet of transfer paper, which would allow me to stick my drawings onto any object and I choose to stick them on plastic cups and bottles just like the drawings.

cup and bottle drawings

Here are three different pen drawings I did of two cups and a bottle, where I tried to draw them as accurate as I could, where  I tried to make the lines strong too. I like the drawings because the drawings came out better then I expected and I believe the lines show the overall shapes of the objects clearly, but next time I could of with the drawings, I could of drew the sizes of them in some areas more accurate.
